Class: Year 5 Year: 2024 - 2025

Year 5 had a fantastic time furthering their learning of WWII. Arriving in school in clothes authentic to the period, children have then tasted some of the limited foods which families would have eaten during war time and played traditional children’s games; as well as designing and making air-raid shelters. Thank you to our teachers for organising this special day and to parents for supporting it. Ongoing conflict around the world reinforces the importance of learning about the impact of war.
