Science Investigation Day

Lesson: Science

Our science investigation day was a blast! From exploding coke bottles to lighting bulbs using potatoes and lemons, we successfully embraced sustainability in a positive and memorable way that the children will remember.  With approximately 400 children engaged in experimentation and enquiry for the whole day we embraced our motto of happy learning. 

It was perhaps best summed up by a representative from Liverpool John Moores University who visited for the morning and emailed to say:

“There was a real buzz around the school from Nursery right up to Y6. The pupils were clearly loving being able to investigate scientific issues. It was a treat to see such inspirational science happening everywhere I looked.”
