Reception meet a real-life superhero

Class: Reception Year: 2021 - 2022

Reception have been enjoying exploring the topic, ‘Superheroes’, including learning about people who help us. Red and Purple Class had a very special visit from a real-life superhero – Pete the Firefighter (AKA Sullivan and Fletcher’s dad). Pete explained the many aspects of his important job to a captive audience and then the children were able to look at some of his firefighting equipment. Our Reception children had some fascinating questions with the whole experience bringing their learning to life.
