Class: Year 5 Year: 2024 - 2025

Year 5 have had an amazing trip to London. They were able to explore the Tower of London, and see key cultural landmarks such as, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Downing Street, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. They also smoothly rode the Tube to each destination and walked a very long way! Behaviour was exceptional and we were greeted with warmth everywhere we went. A special thank you to all my colleagues and Ms Evans who accompanied us – without such generosity of spirit, such trips would not be possible. Thank you also to parents and carers for your kind comments. Some Year 5s chose to stay in school and they spent two days researching the key landmarks creating an amazing display for us to admire – they also made some tasty London themed cakes for their friends!
