Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Year 1 Year: 2023 - 2024

Year One enjoyed a fabulous trip to Croxteth Park farm. The children had the opportunity to see a range of farm animals. They were led by a very knowledgeable member of staff who explained how we could feed the animals safely and told us some history of the animals we met. We were very lucky to be able to meet a new born foal who hadn't yet been visited by the public, as well as holding some very friendly guinea pigs and a rabbit. The weather was kind and we were able to explore the park area in the afternoon and enjoyed some free time in the play area. A wonderful day was had by all!
