Last week, Year 3 had a fantastic trip to the World Museum in Liverpool to consolidate learning about the Ancient Egyptians. The children enjoyed visiting the Egyptian gallery to find answers to our 'Everyday life in Ancient Egypt’ and ‘Journey to the Afterlife’ activities. They also had the opportunity to be involved in the ancient tradition of mummification and the process of embalming. The brave 'slicers' and the 'priest' enjoyed re-enacting this process on an artificial corpse! The teachers were very proud as they watched our children answer the workshop educator's many tricky questions. A fun-filled day for all!
