DEC Earthquake Appeal

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

There has an amazing response to the DEC Earthquake appeal which resulted in me wearing the giraffe costume all day, much to the delight of the children. Children enjoyed telling me the jobs they had done to raise a little money and it was a pleasure to see the pride on their faces.  We are so proud of all the children - they have shown themselves to be caring global citizens. The Hatton Hill community always shows great generosity of spirit. The giraffe day and Year 5's cake sale has raised over £800.00 which will make a tremendous difference to the victims of the earthquake.
