Reception's Learning Adventure

Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Reception Year: 2023 - 2024

New Adventures: For their first school trip, Reception travelled to Walton Hall Park in Warrington and had a great time! The children learned all about the animals from Pete the Park Ranger. The children had the opportunity to feed and stroke pigs and goats and they met Big Red the cockerel, Honey the guinea pig and lots of alpacas. Pete was very impressed with our children's good listening and sensible participation, commenting that our Reception were the best classes he has had for a long time. The children also went on a woodland walk, listened to a story, and then had fun playing in the adventure playground. There were certainly lots of smiles when the children returned to school at the end of the day.
