Acorn Farm Adventure

Year 2 had a lovely time on their trip to Acorn Farm! To begin, they went on a tour of the farm and saw many animals, including new-born chicks, a meerkat, sheep ready to give birth, very vocal cows, goats, horses, (peeping out from their stables!) guinea fowl, hens and geese. Next, they petted some animals, being careful to be gentle and handle them correctly. After lunch fun was had on the playground, before another visit to the farm to sketch favourite farm animals. It was a wonderful day and we thank all at Acorn Farm, our staff for organising, parents for supporting and children for making the day a pleasure.
