We were delighted to be take part in the YKids Bootle Literacy Festival this year which has afforded our children some wonderful opportunities. Year 1 visited the Kingsley & Co. bookshop in The Strand where they took part in an author workshop with Vince Cleghorne and a dragon quiz escape room, followed by hot chocolate and a cake! They were even given a new book. Year 1 were very well-behaved and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We thank YKids and the staff of Kingsley and Co. for organising these special events.
