A Visit to Yellow Class

Class: Year 1 Year: 2021 - 2022

One of the best parts of my job is visiting classes and watching children learn. I was delighted to join Yellow Class as they studied our Book Week book, Twas the Night Before Christmas. The children were able to remember most of the rhyming words as Mrs Dobson re-read the poem. They then learnt the meaning of some old-fashioned words, such as, sash, shutter, penned and nestled. I was very impressed with the whole class and was pleased to see them using their phonic skills to read. Well done, Yellow Class.
