A Visit to J6

Class: Year 5 Year: 2021 - 2022

One of the best parts of my job is visiting classrooms and watching children learn. My visit to J6 was wonderful - what a lovely class! The children were beginning their new Design and Technology protect during which they will be designing and making 'moon' buggies which move and look authentic. We watched a fascinating clip in which the designers of the first moon buggies explained the process. The children then started to design their own buggies giving careful consideration to the materials they could use. They were particularly excited about the prospect of using tools, such as saw! I can't wait to see the finished designs.
