A Visit to J5

Class: Year 5 Year: 2021 - 2022

One of the best parts of my job is visiting children and watching them learn. I was very impressed when I joined J5 for a reading comprehension lesson. The children were very enthusiastic; and showed a secure knowledge of the features of text and stylistic devices, such as similie and metaphor. Most impressive, however, was the way in which they worked in groups to answer questions about The Iron Man. They showed great maturity by listening and challenging each other, so improving their answers and skill. Amazing work, J5!
