A Visit to J2

Class: Year 3 Year: 2021 - 2022

One of the best parts of my job is visiting classes and watching children learn. My visit to J2 was a delight. The children were introduced to a narrative poem based on The Iron Man book. Our clever Year 3s were able to 'unpick' the poem to explore the meaning so they could tell the story in their own words. By the end of the lesson, they had each created a story map of the five main events with key vocabulary which would help them retell the story. I was very impressed J2. Well done.
