A 'Farmer Ted's' Adventure

Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Year 3 Year: 2023 - 2024

Year 3 had a wonderful, fun-filled day out at Farmer Ted’s! The children met a selection of minibeasts, including a cockroach, gecko and a corn snake. Some were even brave enough to stroke them! They enjoyed a fantastic ‘Jurassic Tedventure’ tractor ride, on which they travelled back in time to see a variety of dinosaurs, including the terrifying Tyrannosaurus Rex. Once returned to present day, they enjoyed a much calmer, and less terrifying, pony grooming and guinea pig session. Ruby and Jessie, the Shetland ponies, thoroughly enjoyed their pampering and the guinea pigs gave many squeaks of delight as they enjoyed having their fur stroked. After lunch, we watched the Sheep Show and Ferret Racing before returning to the coach for our journey back to school. What an exhausting, but fantastic, day out we had!
