This term you will studying your local area. Have a walk around with an adult and talk about different types of houses and features you can see, for example the canal.

Spring

Think about the weather you expect at different times of year. Talk about the weather each day with an adult and try to use the correct words to describe it. Have you ever been abroad? What was the weather like in the country you visited?

Summer

By the end of this term you will know the features of hot and cold places, and where they are situated on the globe. To explore the world visit BBC Bitezise and follow the link to KS1 Geography.

Physical Geography Hot and Cold Places	Walking When you walk it gives you time to look at the things around you. This little walk is not too far away and it will give you chance to spot some human and physical geographical features.
