Achievement through Happy Learning

Extracurricular Clubs

At Hatton Hill, we offer a range of extracurricular clubs, some support learning, but most most aim to develop interests and experiences - our priority is fun! Many of our clubs are based on the interests of our teachers and so change regularly throughout the year. Extracurricular clubs are particularly good for developing important non-cognitive skills, such as resilience, teamwork, and other social and emotional skills, which benefit our children's wellbeing and help them transition successfully into the world of work later in life.

Extracurricular activities can:

  • boost confidence and self-esteem

  • develop thinking skills

  • broaden social skills

  • improve time management

  • enhance academic performance

  • improve communication

  • develop staying power

  • ignite a new interest

There is a small charge for clubs which are not offered by our teaching staff. If this poses a barrier for any family, please contact Mrs James or Mrs Hickey in confidence. Local charity, Halle's Hub, helps our school ensure that all children can access clubs.

If your child is involved in a club or activity, or enjoys a hobby, outside of school, such as Scouting, baking or dance, please let us know so we can celebrate their achievements in the 'Celebrate' section of our website.

Keep looking at the back of our newsletter and checking this page for exciting clubs for your child(ren):
