2017 Key Stage 2 SAT Results
2017 saw the second year of the new key stage 2 tests in mathematics; reading; and grammar, punctuation and spelling. The tests assess children against a national standard taught through the new primary curriculum, which was introduced in 2014. With a brand new curriculum and assessment standards, results cannot be compared with the old levels.
If parents would like to know more about the tests and how the results will be used, please click on the following link for an information leaflet provided by the Standards and Testing Agency.

Disaggregated 2017 Key Stage 2 SAT Results
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school. Sometimes a small minority of our children have very specific cognitive or physical needs which mean they cannot access the Key Stage 2 assessments alongside their peers. We are driven to achieve the very best for our children; occasionally this cannot be measured through data. Below is our disaggregated data which reflects the achievement of the pupils who were able to access the Key Stage 2 tests:

2016 Key Stage 2 SAT Results
2016 was the first year of the new key stage 2 tests in mathematics reading; and grammar, punctuation and spelling. The tests assess children against a national standard. This year’s tests are the first tests to reflect the new primary curriculum, which was only introduced in 2014. As this is the first year of the new tests the results will look different from those of previous years and cannot be compared with them directly.
Congratulations to our Year 6 leavers in 2016 who were the first to sit the new, more challenging, Key Stage 2 SATs.
